Ban Liverpool from everything, all problems solved
Ahhh, yes now I like the hand up review type thingy. That's so simple! How have FIFA/The FA not thought of this?
Because it is simple. Haven't you seen they way they make the Europa and Champions league draws, not to mention UEFA and World cups so complicated in order to make sure the best sides get the easiest routes
thats why Arteta deserves respect , he went for CL football & took a pay cut to get it ,I also agree with AW, there are many many problems on and off the pitch, corruption, lack of respect etc and the amounts on money involved are getting obscene now, anyone seen the new wage packet of Samuel Eto'o?!?!
I don't blame the players for moving for the money though. If somebody offered me 20% more to do the same job somewhere else I'd snap their hand off.

Yes thats true but what if you already earn £5M a year?![]()
Was it off side (back to was it a goal).
The only problem with the offside is that say player runs through gets called off side referee blows the whistle as he was about to shoot. The way of only reviewing goals is that you only rectify certain mistakes. I dont believe video will be introduced until you can rectify most mistakes. Only way I can see that with offside is getting them to wear the tracker systems that they do in pre season so they can clearly see who was last man etc.
Goal line technology will be introduced within 2 years I have no doubt about that and FIFA have now said they are going to look at it seriously.
UEFA and FIFA are as bad as each other Platini will not do anything to upset FIFA as he wants the FIFA presidency role once Blatter step down. How ever it has been talked by numerous top european clubs about a breakaway from the system as they believe there is too many international matches and they pay the bill if there assets get injured.
Once the player has the red, he should be allowed a free punch at the nancy who went down so pathetically. If he doesn't take it, the ban gets increased to 4 matches.
We cannot change it immediately BUT for starters ... SIN BIN.
This would allow players to cool off for a period of time dictated by the ref. A yellow card has no effect on players and the manager, if he is sensible, will sub the player so no real problem for the offenders team whilst the star player for the opposition is having a scan of his leg! Sin bin means the team suffers, the player suffers and the manager suffers along with the fans. The player being the target of all this anger will think twice the next time he misbehaves.
A RED CARD is a 90 minute penalty for the TEAM!
Currently a player takes one 'for the team' in the latter stages of a game, the team then soldier on for the remaining 5 minutes and get a result. The player gets a pat on the back from his manager and a week in Majorca with his wife, during his ban, paid for by the club.
However, I would make that team play 85 minutes with 10 men in the next game so that the punishment, to fit the crime, is served.
Lucky for the next team being faced but so be it
It would have been one hell of a wide open game.
I was involved a radio discussion in the States on this instant replay thing and an interesting potential situation arose.
Say Chelsea are attacking and a shot bounces down off the crossbar and is cleared away. The players appeal for a goal - the ball goes upfield, Man Utd break away and score.
The referee checks the instant replay at the first break in play which was the United goal. Replay proves that Chelsea have scored and United haven't.
Outside of probably giving Alex Ferguson a fatal coronary, would players and fans accept this in reality?
I do totally agree with video evidence of cheating after a game. And make the punishments serious - three games for a first offense, six games for a second one and then giving someone full handicap in a match for any further offenses.
