Anyone else closed due to the weather? I'm gutted had my first outing with my new fourball planned for this morning! All week forecast a couple of flurries sat morning, then on Friday forecast changes to no snow, cool. Wake up this morning to find just under an inch, my course is also higher up in the surrounding hills so def had more than me! Course closed says the home page, wounded.

I got all prepared yesterday to play a charity event at my club today (Saturday). I was at a 21st Party at a club next to the course last night saying it would be a bit of fun to play in the frosty conditions. 2300 snow starts 2330 enough snow on the ground to guarantee no golf today

Bit like me. Sat in pub taking it easy not wanting to be feeling rubbish for playing today but saw the snow getting heavier and heavier so ended up having a few more than originally planned. Hate is a strong word but I do hate the snow!!

I had fun last night in the snow and discovered a Ford Focus estate is actually a very very good car in the snow, certainly better than my car.

Handled very well.

Golf, nae chance today, or tomorrow or next week by looks of things!

Lee Westwood phoned me up last night to ask if I wanted to join him, Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter for a game at Wentworth on Sunday.
I told them to [****] off, it's too cold....

I would as well

I played. It was snowing, and minus 5.

Only lost 3 balls.

Lost the match on the last, from dormie 4 down. Didn't really want to go back up the first anyway.

Just seen the news.

Bloody hell! There's been some snow dropped on the country over the weekend.

We've had a light covering which has now frozen but it's nowt compared to what has come down in other areas.
Sympathy to the Scots and North Eastern folk, you've copped for quite a bit.
