Had about 4 inches all told, although they are forecoasting loads more to come. (currently it is lashing down). As my work is only a 4 minute walk from my house I have no excuses :( :(

6 Inches where I am.

One of the major hills I need to use became impassable as all the arseholes emptied the council salt-bins to do their little bit of path and now there is no salt in the 2 bins on the hill. Still atleast peoples paths look nice.

Why are people so anal about having the path to their front door impeccably cleared of every last fragment of evidence that it has snowed? I just dont understand it.

About 9" in South Bromley.

Started about 5.30 am yesterday with no pre-gritting on the roads. 1st gritters seen on the bus routes about 12 hours later and none since. For the 1st time ever in this area I've seen a couple of snow ploughs out. The council must have decided it was cheaper to use these rather than grit

For most of yesterday the whole area was gridlocked as all main routes out are up inclines and mainly blocked by lorries that couldn't get up the slopes. Lesser routes were blocked where there are traffic lights at the top of inclines.

It's about 5" outside my door, and about 12" down the field when I walk the dogs. We have had it for a full week now and it's fair to say that im getting a bit sick of it

Same here, Everywhere is gridlocked, a normal 30 minute drive took me 4 and a half hours. Everyone getting stuck or sliding all over the place, Not driving for a couple of days now.

No idea whats at home in Maidstone, as I have been staying with the in-laws in London. Doubt I will bother going home until the weekend.

More snow last night and another walk to work this morning.
A few blizzards whilst at work.
Walked back home and my previously cleared drive bore witness to the fact that we'd had several inches more snowfall during the day.
