wwhile walking though town this afternoon, almost every person i seemed to walk past was openly smoking dope, personally i don't have a problem with people doing it in the comfort of their own homes, but most of the stuff being smoked nowdays stinks.

Sneck can't be the only place thats like this??

I rather walk through that then the vape trails left by some folk on the street. I've literally thought cars were on fire at times when stopped in traffic to then realise it only a vapper in their car letting loose.

Should be made legal anyway and more tax put on drink. It's also worth researchingit for yourself and seeing why it was made illegal in the first place.

I'm in agreement about legalisation, but smoking weed is quiet antisocial in public, like smoking on the whole. def more smoking dope than vapers in town yesterday. outside Primark alone there must have been half a dozen guys puffing away waiting on partners, not together either all seperate.

I dislike the smell too, and it's getting more openly smoked than ever before.
However I am in the camp that believes it should not be legalised. I understand both sides of the debate; but I have seen too many bad outcomes from cannabis addiction to justify its change in legal status.
Dealing with it is a whole new thread.

I'm not sure the Police have the time or the inclination to do anything, on one instance i was stood at a crossing two Coppers on side and a hoody the other puffing away on a big spliff, they didn't bat an eyelid. so why not make it legal, then i suppose it can be taxed and the criminal eliment removed

We walked past three lads smoking it on the golf course on Saturday! That was at Stockley Park.

There's a road near me that I walk down and I can often smell it, I'm convinced there's a household there actually producing it. It doesn't really bother me that much though, it is an unusual smell, but not as bad as walking behind someone with a cigarette. Plus I actually hate those vape things even more, the smell of cinnamon or some other sickly sweet substance is just bizarre.

You would know, unless they have a decent set up. my old neighbours got busted for it, they found 50k worth of mature plants in the house which was trashed! I didn't smell a thing until the police cut off the electric to the house, then oh my god the smell!! its not like the smell when its being smoked!!!

Was one of my more exciting working from home days! The lead copper showed me round before they cleared it out too! was an amazing set up! They had 2 full sized oil drums in the loft filled with water which they used as a filter for the smell, the extraction units drew the old air from the 4 growing rooms up to the loft, and then out of the roof via the sewer air vent, They were drawing power direct from in front of the meter, had an electrical distribution board in the garage that was mounted on thick MDF and it was black through the heat generation! They had only been growing for 8 weeks!

Anyway, the house was trashed, massive holes in floors and ceiling for access and ventilation, and it stank!!!

I have gone a bit OT! Sorry!

I think we will be following in the footsteps of some American states and legalising it.

Tried it when I was young teen. Just made me sleep. Not touched it since. I don’t mind the smell, and I don’t mind people smoking it. It’s just the type of people that constantly smoke it are usually scruffy scrotes. Doesn’t do good for its image for a herbal remedy.

As many bad outcomes as through alcohol addiction, or are you all for banning that too?

No, but why add to the bad outcomes. Both drugs and alcohol are addictive and Cannabis can lead to stronger drugs, and in itself affects people in different ways. And the cannabis in circulation now is a lot different to what was around 50 years ago.
I think that, sadly, it will be legalised. But where do you stop?

we attended a house fire the other day. in a unaffected room we found a small canabis farm. when we asked for the police they asked "how many pots" . when i answered 4 pots they said they won't send a car until the next day.
