I assume the silence means that they are either not coming back or there is a bigger issue??? Seems strange that we've lost them. No other forum I've been on have lost em or not been able to get them back! Then again if they've never lost em I guess I don't ken if they can't get them back!

Very strange that we progressively lost them. All smilies were working fine for me when people started to complain about this.... but a few days later I lost them too!

I would imagine in the grand scheme of things that not having working smilies isn't really that important. Yes, ideally, it would be good if they were working but has the quality of your life diminished because of it?

No, but I would still expect some kind of response, even if it was to say that the cause of the problem was unknown or the importance is so negligable that we're not bothering with smileys for a while, at least we'd know the current state of affairs.
Just curious really, my life has not been irrevocably altered by this situation..........................yet
