was from vodafone when the prev contract ran out, mrs got the old samsung galaxy on same deal

I have a samsung and so does my cousin. Both are utter rubbish, great for a year or two and then the touch screen goes into meltdown.

I've just changed mine this week and went for the new Samsung Galaxy S2 which is the latest and best phone out there. It's slightly bigger than the iphone, faster with the latest gingerbread o/s with the android apps being as good and cheaper than the iphone.

What you secretly want is a Motorola Defy. Good android software, 5mp camera and waterproof. Go on youtube and have a look at people filming underwater with it.

Same here, can't get away from it fast enough. Just about to renew so reading this one with interest. Will basically be going for whatever has good golf apps/gps to save me having to buy one. Have work mobile for all that talking nonsense

I changed to the Galaxy S2 this week as it has the best reviews of all the latest phones and have to say i'm very impresses after only a few days and I've had all the previous top phones, Nokia N8, HTC Desire S, Blackberry Torch and the iphone4. I guess it comes down to personal taste and what you want from the phone.

If anyone works for a local authority or a major Orange business user then you can get any of their phones and tariffs at a 25% discount. Just go in to an Orange shop (can't be any of the other major retailers or on line) and ask them to check if the company you work for qualify then if you do they give you the 25% discount. We use Orange at work and qualified so I got my new handset for nothing and 25% off the Panther 40 tariff.

Galaxy S2 all the way. Best spec's out there.

HTC Sensation is suffering same loss of signal as the Iphone 4 did.

HTC Evo looks good and is 3D but its a heavy sod.
