Has anyone used a smart watch with android to utilise the apps like Hole19, Golfshot, GolfPad etc?

I often use the app but it would be nice to just glance at my watch for yardage.

Does using the watch with the GPS drain the battery too much that it doesnt last a whole round?

I have seen a Fossil Gen5 at a resonable price but unsure if it would last 18 holes.

I just bought a Garmin S42. Got fed up of app on phone! It’s really good. I think will give me some great stats when I get proficient with it.

Apple watch
Hole 19

Would not play golf without it. So much data can be pulled from hole 19 too - class app

I have an Apple Watch.

I bought a shotscope v3 on sale a while back, much better experience.
This! I have a Fossil Gen 5, and it should last the 18 holes, but I would make sure it was charged before I set out. However, I prefer to use a purpose designed golf watch and if you shop around, you can get some good deals on them. Also, I know that my ShotScope V3 copes with all the rain the Scottish weather can throw at it.
