Hole 19 / Apple Watch issue?

Had an issue the last couple of times I’ve played - start round on the phone and ok it on the watch. Works as normal, but the next time I look at the watch, it’s gone back to the watch’s home screen.

Go to the list of apps, click on the app and it opens at the right place (i.e. the last hole it was used on), scroll forward to the current hole and it’s fine again, but next time I look at it, it’s back on the home screen.

Very irritating, not sure if it’s an issue with the app, the watch or the phone.

Anyone had this?

Happened to me, I just closed the app, cleared the watch, re opened and all was ok

Things I’ve done in the past:

Updated the app - they seem to update it literally every 5 minutes, normally fixes snags.

Depending on your preference, you can change the settings on the watch itself to either stay on all the time, stays on for a certain period of time etc. I just have mine on all the time rather than raise to wake.

Finally, you can email hole19 support and they come back to you every time. Even if it’s not their issue they’ll try to help.
