SkyCaddie, how easy is it to `map a courses winter greens?

Has anyone mapped winter greens on a SkyCaddie? Obviously all the bunkers etc are still in the same place so is it possible to just add additional greens?

I just created a new course mapping the winter greens only which was easy enough. I didn't bother with the bunkers.

How long does it take? Is it something you can do whilst playing or does it take some time?

You can map the winter greens quite quickly, you need to stand at the back and front of each green and wait for a GPS reading, if you're clear of trees round the greens ie. a links it will be quick. I mapped a 9 holer myself whilst playing a round ok.

You cannot map bunkers when you DIY course mapping so the bunker information will not be available unless you start changing courses on your unit as you play which is going to be way too much faffing about, lets face it.

I also mapped out when playing each green takes around 15 seconds to do front middle back or you could just choose to do middle and be around 5 seconds.

I don't bother, at my course we use the aprons, so i just set my sky caddie to the front of the greens and then subtract 5 yards, that'sn accurate enough for me
