Simulator Club Gapping Results
I went and had a session on the simulator at Golfer's Choice in Northampton last week and can't recommend this highly enough to anyone that wants confirmation of the distances they actually hit each club. They have got the GC2 monitor as per the one you see on Sky Sports.
I'd been thinking about getting this done for a while as whilst i though I knew my lengths I was concerned that I had issues at the top and bottom of the bag - it seems that I don't but then I don't hit the wedges as far as I thought.
I've been emailed the summary from the session and have loaded it up for your amusement but also to show what you can learn from one of these. The wedge references are slightly wrong as i had to change wedges to accomodate the strong loft (44°) of the JPX800 - for Lob read 56°, Sand read 52° and Gap read 48°.
I should add that I'm in no way affiliated with Golfer's Choice - just a very happy customer.
If you're thinking about getting this done yourself go for it - best £25 I've spent in a while
Unfortunately this provides proof that I'm not a member of the forum's 300 yard club though
