Just an amazing golf course. Some holes very reminiscent of Rye GC. Lovely track.

Honestly, mate. I'm so jealous of any member of that course. I would never tire of playing it... although knowing Cumbrian winters, maybe from November to March I might! ?

This winter was actually fairly good for golf with the exemption of February.

Best thing about it is it plays differently every day so never gets boring

Looks fantastic. I remember it well from being a member there in the late 90s. A bit of run on the ball, I presume?

Not been through for a few days but from the photos I've seen the last couple of days it's browned off now and will be very fiery.

Going to be perfect going conditions for Carris Trophy starting today, no wind and dry course so it will be interesting to see how low the scoring is.

Will be helping out on Thursday and Friday stationed on 14th so hopefully should see some good golf.

Playing in the open here tomorrow, looks like we have hit lucky with the weather as well.

Looks like you won't have to worry about the wind so going to be very friendly conditions.

Should have firmed up after last weeks rain so leave the driver in the bag and just make sure you hit the fairway. Especially so with the heather in bloom, its difficult to find your ball at present let alone advance it.

Course is just superb at the moment, an absolute credit to our small greens team.

I'm down at Ulverston tomorrow playing 36 holes, that should be fun in this weather
