Hi All,

I have a signed Ferrari shirt that I would like to sell, it is signed my Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello in 2006, a championship winning year. I would like to sell it and although I know the signatures are real I think I need a certificate of authentication for the best price. Does anyone know who the recognised authenticators of this sort of thing are. I don't want to just google it and get it done by someone who is not recognised by a wide audience.

Thanks for any help

Alex

you need to be careful with COA@s as many are just handwritten photocopied bits of paper that you can knock up on any pc.

Best provenance is a picture at time of signing dont suppose you have one floating about?

Maybe there is a ferrari collectors club that could help?

Na, My father was with a member of the FIA when the guys signed it so I know its real, it was always a personal item so intended to keep it and did not care about the COA but I now want the money so will look to have the signitures themself authenticated. It may well go to a collector I know but if not it will be much easier to sell with a COA. Sadly no photos at the signing and even if there was it could have been any red shirt being signed, not way to link it to mine.

Thanks

i have a large collection of football memorabillia and to be fair it more a case of trusting would you are buying off rather than COA as many are collected as your shirt through a personal meeting.
I have no idea of the value of your item and im sure with a bit of research a value and an outlet could be found with or without a COA.

Good luck.

I think it is worth about £450 and maybe £600 in a frame with a COA. About the price of a new set of irons....

Nice one, Gary at Autographica is very profesional, I shall be sending it there..

Thanks for your help!

My auld tartan autograph book had Nicklaus, Palmer, Player and Willie Bauld all on the same page, somewhere between England and Scotland it has gone missing.

[Hearts supporters of a certain age will know who the real star of those four is]

I have Shay Givens signed keeper gloves along with a letter of authenticity from the club.................unfortunately it's Newcastle United.
