I take it you'll be contributing to the forum in other ways apart from golf rules will you?

The R&A Golf rule book is owned by most golfers for reference, should the need arise!
 
As far as arrogant self publicising posts go that is straight in the all time top 3. I think you'll find there are a number of others on here (including Jezz from GM) who might give you a run for your money

Ok. How come I managed to hit the ball 7 times but still parred a par 5?
 
Not at all Sneds but how would you react if someone you've never met came up in your clubhouse and introduced himself like that. I just though it was rude.

Oh my mistake, I didn't realise he came to you in a clubhouse and said this. I thought this was just on the forum.

Ok , here's one thats got me flummoxed.....should i have red or brown sauce on my bacon rolls at my society day on saturday ?

Should I have red wine or white wine with chicken?

both the wine and the sauce questions are too vague, what time is the bacon rolls and what is going with the chicken? life is in the specifics

Hmm, many will say white wine with white meat and fish, but I don't think there's a specific rule for that, whatever takes your fancy at the time.
 
Ahh the Condiment Question !

If a player is drawn in a group with other Brown Sauce sachets but is later found to have been colour blind and really drew a Red Sauce sachet, is the player penalised, disqualified or told that Mayonaise is the way to go in future.

If it were a team event would the whole Browb Sauce Team be disqualified ?

This is obviously a serious question as the draw at some previous GM Forum meets has been made using said condiments.

I have spent many hours trawling through the rules of Golf but can find no reference to the Condiment Draw method within the mighty book.

Can you please help?
 
Sid, me and a playing partner almost came to blows last night as our match went to extra holes. His 2nd shot hit the windmill and bounced onto the waterfall hole . . . is that out of bounds ? ? ? ?
