Shorts weather.

Yup, the warm weather's here at last.
Played the other night after work. Threw the shorts on, grabbed my white and black AQL's and away I went.

I remember looking down when I was putting and thinking "What on earth am I wearing?"

The AQL's are shoes in their own right and I did think that realistically I wouldn't dream of going out (eg shopping) in a pair of shorts (tailored or not) in a pair of normal shoes.

I'm now considering buying a pair of "sporty" golf shoes. I love my AQL's, got a pair of black and a pair of white and black ones. Both the same saddle type shoes.
Am I being too self conscious?

Probably. I don't have that problem. I know I look ridiculous in shorts, so always wear trousers on the golf course. I'd look especially silly with golf shoes and shorts on, I'm sure.

I have my shorts in the car for this afternoon. Yep, they look silly, but I don't care. To me, as long as the shoes are predominantly white, and the socks are short and white, it looks fine. Black shoes, black socks, shorts, no.

The pins are going to make their first appearance of the year tonight ladies and gents! Can't wait!

I definitely am NOT a fashion guru so I'll be cracking out the tailored shorts and a pair of white socks with white and black golf shoes, although the Adidas Powerbands do have a bit of a sportier look than normal so hopefully i won't look like too much of a prat.

coincidently was wearing exactly that combination yesterday - however I have other things on my mind when putting!

I considered the white Dryjoy Tours but they are noticably heavier; so the AQLs win.

I'm also considering some soft shoes...but then again it's hard to justify on the first sign of the sun - don't want to feel I drove it away next week!

played last night, wore trousers, wish I was in shorts it was baking ! I also ripped the crotch out of my strides falling over in the rough!!

Had my shorts on last night but I have the addidas samba golf shoes/trainer so it looks fine. Incidentally I shot mg lowest ever score so maybe shorts are the future.
