Shorts or no shorts

I'm certainly a keen wearer of shorts from around the end of March to the beginning of October. I've already received a number of comments from other club members this year speculating when the shorts will be pressed into action again.

I wear my shorts all year round but never on the golf course, why I'm not sure but the thought of me having to wear white socks on the course is enough for me!

I'll wear shorts in Spain, I hear it's warm over there (where is Steve)

over here it will have to be really hot. I have picked up a couple of ticks before wearing shorts and rooting around in the rough !! that may be reason enough not to wear them
