Agree with your comments on the FJ LT, my first pair of shoes were the brown and white ones and they are still going strong.

I had the blue/black and white, which i left on the roof of the car in the shoe bag then drove off never to be seen again.

when i went to get some new ones FJ had decided that they would change the colours to either bright orange or lime green.

bright orange was the lesser of two evils.

i have been wearing adidas and a pair of nike shoes and find them both a good shoe and keep my feet dry
