shoes who knows best?

recently went to AG to look at shoes where i was told adidas are the only brand that do wide fitting? i find that hard to beleive who knows better?

As soon as I saw 'AG' I knew the advice that followed was likely to be a load of Titleists.

As indeed it was. I guess that branch has an excess of Adidas they want to sell!

I think most will do a wide fitting. The question is more does anyone stock them, or do they have to be ordered in.

Notice from your other thread, you have recovered from your knee injury. Welcome back to this horrible game.

Might not be to your liking, but flat trainer type shoes like the Ecco ones that Fred Couples wore or the ones currently worn by Tiger. These types of shoes are suppose to be easier on the body.
Not your style, the Nike Lunar's are great. Lightweight and supportive. Plus I generally find Nikes to be quite wide as standard.

Adidas do make a wide but their regualr width is pretty narrow,Footjoy do wide in most of their upper level shoes and I have found I need a wide in both these makes.

Agreed, also I havent bought any but I have tried Puma in a medium and width was similalry quite wide, will be getting some soon though.

Your first mistake was going to AG. FJ, ECCO, Nike all do a wide fitting. However it may be a case of ordering in as I doubt many places will stock wide in many colours or ranges
