Shirt sizes........

My problem with shirts is the arm length. I'm blessed with orangutan like arms so if I get a shirt that fits my neck correctly, it becomes vitrually short sleeved on me. I've recently bought a couple from Jacamo, not the cheapest but the sizing isn't too bad although not perfect.

Try CT shirts Geezer.
Various arm lengths are available if you are ordering "formal" shirts.

Try M&S; they do a range of shirts with 2" longer sleeves.

Trouble is, they don't list their collar sizes for casual shirts.
Could end up in the same boat as before.
Fine for "formal" shirts where you are ordering on collar sizes, but absolutely no good if a large (my chest size) comes with an 18" collar (as most of them do!).
That's the good thing about CT shirts. They list the collar size.

Ah yes, I get it.

I get this too the other way round as my arms are short. One thing I like about both CT and Lands' End is they offer a range sleeve lengths on a lot of the styles which means my hands don't disappear up my cuffs.:)

I get the same wit

I was going to ask about Charles Tyrwhitt as I constantly receive flyers off them and they have leaflets in quite a few golf magazines with what looks to be some nice clobber. I've always struggled with matching my neck size to my body, especially at the moment with losing weight and my sizes changing!

My neck is 17" but my chest is now only around the 42" mark, so if I buy by my collar size the shirts could fit Coco the clown, if I buy by my chest size I could never do the collar up to give the option of wearing a tie

I think I'll have a punt and get a couple of casual shirts as I've got a discount code for them.

Edit: Just pulled the trigger on Slim fit non-iron navy check poplin shirt and Slim fit non-iron multi check pink and blue shirt, Grand total of £45.85 delivered.

Went for the slim fit in large so I can hopefully gauge from these if they're right or not, if not I'm driving past Bicester Village a few times a week currently so I can exchange them if needs be but I like the £2.80 (Hermes) returns service they offer.

I am about a 42" chest Robin and bought the large "classic" fit. They are fine around the collar (as I've mentioned I'm a 16" and these are around 16 1/2" so they are comfortable and don't look too silly!).
The classic fits are okay but I may get the wife to give them a really hot wash to see if I can shrink them a little bit, but I won't be too fussed if that doesn't work.
I looked at the checked patterned ones, but they are a bit "brokeback mountain"
