Money List Winner
Guys,
Since we're all in the giving spirit, what with the HFH day being such a success, I'm plugging this for a friend as he's raising money for a very worthy cause, and he's absolutely mental for trying it as I'm sure you'll all appreciate.
On June 20th at Belton Park golf club, some of my good friends are taking on a 100 hole challenge to raise money for the "Education for Children" foundation which is a charity that helps kids in under privileged countries in central america get off the streets and given an education: http://www.eftc.org.uk/
So they are basically walking a marathon and playing golf in between.
They will need to stick to a speed of 1.5 hours per 9 holes to complete the task in daylight which will prove tricky given that there are no buggies, no pick ups and no gimmes. Every hole MUST be completed by every participant.
I know you're probably all a bit drained of cash after HFH but if I get but one donation, this post has served it's purpose, anything is a bonus to raise money for such a worthy cause.
I'm sure you can all appreciate how hard this challenge will be - I'm gutted I'm not doing it this year, hopefully I'll be in next years team.
Oh and if anyone wants to participate with the boys at Belton Park on the 20th (or do your own challenge, at your own golf club, Rhiannon@eftc.org.uk can give you all the help you need) - feel free to PM me and I'll give you the contact details of my friend Dave who is spear-heading the operation.
Cheers in advance.
EDIT: Helps if I give you the donation link!
