What issues have folk had with graphite ?

My issue was that I tried to do it without a shaft puller and the small amount of twisting I accidentally subjected it to was enough the break it.

Weird looking stuff once it's broken. You wouldn't believe it was ever as strong as a golf shaft. Just a weave of stringy bits.

I pulled three graphite shafts today, one adapter and two fixed, then i cut one at the tip for my new driving iron

if it holds together tomorrow on the range , we'll see

I didn't twist them at all when removing, heard that's the culprit.
