It's not helped by some old goat munching a very smooth and rhythmic swing past me on a monthly basis.......

As a reasonably, but not exceptionally, long old goat myself, I believe 'smooth and rhythmic' - with timing (of release) - is the key.

As for the feedback, I'm not sure I'm really on the same wavelength. I like feeling that the shaft has some whip/bend in it through impact without being floppy - hockey stick (old wooden one) style. The likes of V2, Graffaloy Blue etc do not seem for me, though I know some who prefer that more 'cricket-bat' feel. Apart from the results - which are actually the most important - I wasn't particularly enamored with the Ping low torque upgrade (Aldila Serrano) shaft.

Well I have managed to get the simulator for an hour tomorrow with all shafts packed in the boot of the car , also booked is is a couple of demo clubs ;)
