Such a sad time for golf with his passing but let's all remember and celebrate what an incredible and inspirational legend of the game Seve was.

The term "legend" or "genius" is used far, far to often in sport and is often attributed to undeserving recipients.

I would like to say that Seve's achievements demand he be called a legend, genius, an idol and a true gentleman to the game of golf.

Agreed. This was what I was greeted with as I walked up to the clubhouse on my arrival Sunday afternoon. Really nice touch, choked me up a little bit.

I added it to Facebook with the comment "This round's for you Seve".

Saw it on the news and must admit I had a lump in my throat. Sad day.

Don't know if having his ashes buried under the magnolia tree was perhaps a nod in the direction of Augusta.
