seniors

Who mentioned handicaps? I assumed that John0's forum pseudonym meant that he was called John and that he was off scratch (that's what's usually meant by the 0). He talks as if he is a scratch golfer.

I think the O is the shape of his mouth, I also noticed he has not posted his handicap.
I wonder if it is lower than Rosecott's.

Only when they compare their ability to others.
We can see where they are coming from them.
For example your posts would be really funny if you had a high handicap

Well I dont like to follow convention im afraid....I even stand behind FC's on the tee-box.

So if I have a low handicap will my posts no longer be funny?

I'm quite a way into the Senior ranks and have no problem playing off any set of tees that give a reasonable challenge.

I've seen guys who look younger than me head to the Red tees and once went around with a 74 yo guy, who mentioned on the first tee that he'd taken his Parkinson's pill only a couple of minutes ago, who played off the Whites.

I'm certainly 'happy' to admit that courses off Pro's tees (and I've played off a few) are too long for me.

It isn't that as much, tho' funny is in the mind of the writer. There are very few really good golfers on this forum, and since there is not a senior golfer around capable of beating you then it would be very interesting to know what you play off.

It wasnt me who suggested the posts were funny, Doon did.

I didnt realise how much of a sensitive bunch the seniors on here are. In fact I would of thought they would have forgotten about this thread by now

I doubt there are many shrinking violet seniors on here, most have memories in tact too and can remember what their handicap is and are not afraid to share it.

Now be fair
I only said they would be funny if you had a high handicap.
Perhaps the reason you are not posting the info is because you don't even have a handicap.
