Season Over

I must say that following a month out, lots of osteopathic visits, pain, drugs, constant moving and walking and stretching, I'm surprised to be almost back to full health.

Osteopath has told me that the only way golf will damage my back is if I stick a golf shaft into my spine, so it's all about pain management now.

I have managed to hit 50 balls at the range the other day and went for 9 holes today (5 over) and feel OK still :D

Might manage to salvage some of the season yet!

My season ain't over but think I'll be out for couple weeks had a fall on my bike last night skin hanging off all lover the place and struggled changing gear in the car on way to work this morning too :(

I've been having problems with my lower back it's a dull ache and I can feel the nerves down the front of my leg. Had physio which helped a bit, but didn't seem to get to the real issue. Currently seeing a chiropractor which does seem to be helping, but I've started doing Yoga again and went for a swim the other day. The Yoga is helping build core strength but can't believe how much difference the swimming has made.
I off for another swim tomorrow and looking to swim twice a week and do Yoga once a week. Had a game today and no real issues with the back. So off to do some breast stroke tomorrow, not on any ladies :)
