Seacroft Golf Club

Matt had all the ladyboys that night ;)

I'll try anything once.

Or twice....

Went mental and had about 4 or 5. Think Matt forgot the lemonade top when it was his round!

Woah, woah...you mean I bought a round? My standards are slipping!

To the OP,, course is nice enough - the shorter holes are balanced off nicely with the elevation changes and as others have said, there's some quirky holes and blind tee shots. We were lucky in that there wasn't a drop of wind - your baby draw will come in handy for the 'road' hole! Anything right is a danger to life!

I played it a couple of times last year and it's a really nice track.

A few blind shots so a planner is advised, greens were great.

Should be a great day out.

We played it as part of a mates tour and the only bad element was that we played skins and my partners between them kept me out of the points every hole on the trot for about 12 holes (a couple of chip ins when I thought I had it, a 40 foot putt etc etc) then one of them sank a birdie to mop up all 13. I had to birdie the last to get a single point (most unlike me ... the birdie that is :o)

I played it a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. I'm not a Links oficionado so can't really compare it to other courses (except that it was better than Sandilands).

A good variety of holes, great greens and very friendly members/staff.

I think you'll enjoy it.

Off to play Seacroft on Sunday for 2-days, got my Victory Cup tomorrow first then the shackles are off, looks like we'll escape any rain and the wind is only 14mph, all systems go....:fore:

There are a couple of fairway markers that look like they are miles off, there not use them wisely and enjoys mah man.

Just put my name down to go to Seacroft with a group of members from my club for 2 rounds of golf and 1 night B&B for £110

Never heard of it before, the pictures and general info on the website look good, so come on peeps, spill the beans.

=====================

You may want to try North Shore at some point, which is only 15 minutes away. A lovely course. Apparently last year you could get 2 rounds of 18 holes and one night accommodation for £90. It's on the edge of Skeggy, so you can have a really dirty night out as well :D

If you ever get the chance and enjoy linx courses, also try Sandilands, which arguably has the best greens in Lincolnshire

You haven't played many courses yet have you WWG?

north shore you get what you pay for! And sandilands is ok and that's it, the greens are ok.

3 aim left of the marker but if it's downwind don't hit driver.

15 aim way left of the marker!
