Scrambles again

We are running a mixed 2-person scramble for the first time next weekend.

I know the handicap allowances which are laid down but is there anything else I need to consider, such as a minimum number of drives to be selected for each player?

I was also considering using stableford scoring. Any thoughts on that?

For a 4 ball we ask for 3 drives PP, par 3s don't count as drives.
For 3 balls we ask for 4 drives PP, plus a tee shot at a par 3 PP.
For 2 balls 7 drives PP.

We run similar comps at our gaff. 7 drives each. Strokeplay (not stableford). They are popular.

Don't spoil the fun by making it too serious, there's enough of that for the rest of the year.
If you add too many rules, you'll chase people away, I've seen it happen.
