Scotty Owners

Having used a Ping Pal 4 for 25 years, I was nervous about putting anything else in my bag. However, the iping app said I had a strong arc and needed a toe weighted putter, so I started to look around. If I am honest I really wanted a Scotty to be right for me, but I am not daft enough to use one if it wasn't the best putter I could find. I tried the Monterrey ( a blade like my Ping) and I was dissappointed that it wasn't quite right and almost as an after thought I gave the California Del Mar in Sea Mist finish a go. I never thought I would enjoy striking putts but this thing makes putting a pleasure. I could spend all day on the practice green with it. Everyone who has tried it absolutely loves it. I bought it new from AG price matched from £249 to £209 without any fuss. A lot to pay, I know, but I do love it.

Our club has an odyssey fitting day next Friday which I'm going to mozy on down and check out. Tempted to go back to Pachesham as they have a proper putter fitting centre but not sure if I could justify the cost of a SC given I already have a milled Odyssey

If a SC comes out on top, part ex the Odyssey
Think I will have to part ex my Odyssey when I buy new. Just not a fan of the insert with the metal-x

After trying plenty of others including most of the odyssey range and also the milled mizuno's i tried my GoLo S and loved it. Bought brand new. Was my 1st putter in about 10 years so i dont intend changing it for a long time!

Putting is the only part of my game I am happy with so after some success with Gibbo's old Studio Select Newport 2 I have just treated myself to a 2013 model Fastback with Sea Mist finish. Having only tried it out for an hour on my club's practice green I find it has the best feel and roll of any flatstick I have ever had, and as some of you may know I have had an insane amount of putters in the last few years! I am sooooooo happy with it (but I am still keeping my Newport and my other erm...Mizuno, Odyssey, and Yes putters). The pistol grip is probably the best grip I have used too.

I've always wanted one but bought one for a mate of mine for his 60th.
As soon as it arrived it was obvious he'd never get it as I fell in love with it straight away, I mean, it's gorgeous!
I got it 2nd hand, but it can't be a fake ............................ I bought it off a forummer!

Slime.

Always liked the look and feel of Scotties when picking them up in shops and with a bit of a windfall and an excuse to treat myself I bought one from my local pro. Basic fitting with an adjustable putter and he did a price match.

I love it.

They had a bit of an aura.....and I liked the looks and feel. I spent weeks testing them in different shops whilst I was in Japan, narrowed down to the fastback and squareback, finally plumbing for the latter. Ordered it through my pro when I got back and have loved it ever since.
