Hi!

I'm currently in the process of refurbishing my Scotty Cameron Newport 2. I've sanded all of the paint and i've managed to get all of the rust of using vinegar. It looks a thousand times better already, however the quite a few of the dots on the back of the putter have come away. i'm not sure what to use to fill the tiny holes with. does anyone have any recommendations?!

i would get some model paint or nail varnish. use a cocktail stick or tiny brush to pain the holes once you have them very clean and very dry!

Thanks for that Rooter, I think I'll go with the nail varnish idea. I'll be doing it later today so I'll post the results when it's done. Thanks for the help!

I removed the Tel3 insert as well and put new elastomer in it!

Are you going to reblue it? If so I'd stay away from the Casewell stuff!

How did you take the insert out? The cladding that is holding the insert in at the minute has come away slightly and I was thinking of re doing it. Was it hard to take out and put it back in?

There are 4 tiny Allen key screws holding it it.

soak the head in spirit and the get a tooth pick to get the elastomer out!

was my first refurb and with a bit of time is good!
