Scotty Cameron Refurb !

If you want it to look like it was when it was new with the same finish then EasenGrace is right you will have to send it to the USA..
Out of curiosity Alchemygolf, Have you ever refinished Cameron putters? I did my Circa 62, It was a bit worn when I got it off ebay. I just cleaned of what little was left of the old finish and applied Gun Blue liquid, It worked really well, looks great.

US only for official refinish. Titleist UK used to offer a refurb service but it was not as good as Cameron.

There are other refinishers, mostly in the US, and they are fine for a retail putter. If you have a collectible one, don't let anyone other than Cameron touch it.

I have a lot of experience with sending stuff to the Cameron Custom Shop, dealing with shipping, customs etc. PM me if you want more info.

Whats Gun Blue Liquid?

Just applying gun blue can give very mixed results.

For me, you either want a scotty to look as new, in which case send it to Scotty, or, you want it to have a patina from use, and a bit of character. Unless it has been allowed to rust, I would leave it as it is.

Yes I have refinished a lot of the black ones but had to explain to the customer 1st that it would be cleaned up and polished but the finish would be different (shiny steel or satin steel). The 1st process knocks all the black finish off.

Usually if a customer wants to sell it on then you need to get the original finish and send it to Titleist.

A lot of my customers get theres refinished because it is looking tired and they want it cleaned up for themselves to use.

Whats Gun Blue Liquid?

It's a chemical that when applied to carbon steel turns it black. It is generally used for gun barrels but works on most steel that isn't stainless.
Worked well for me.
