It's always easy to look back with rose-tinted glasses but I think that highlights the decline in Scottish football. That Aberdeen team would win the league at a canter nowadays.
What a player Durrant was back then too, before his injury.

A lot of Bears that were at that game say it was only the second best goal that day, Sandy Jardines being better. I reckon they just say that to annoy us Bears that weren't there!

WillieP, sadly only managed 5 Scotland Caps, he scored 3 goals in his 5 games , undefeated in all .
Back in the 70s when we had a REALLY good squad of players, he could hardly get a game.
