Region3
Ryder Cup Winner
I've just signed up after buying a golf mag for the first time in years and seeing they had a forum. I spend a lot of time on the internet so now I can expect it to get much worse I guess.
A bit about me for anyone who wants to know...
I started playing golf seriously in my teens and by the time I got married (and hence stopped playing
) I'd got down to a 10 handicap.
Now, a few months later (ok... 240 months ) I decided to take the game up again, and love it even more than before. I think it must have something to do with having more patience now and being that much older have learnt to deal with disappointment better.
I've joined a club and handed 2 cards in so far for my new handicap, so hopefully have that by next week (since I'm hoping my 3rd will be later this week). It's just a shame that the competitions are starting to dwindle now the summer is coming to an end.
I've normally got lots to type (in real life I'm very quiet!) so I look forward to contributing (hopefully) in the forums. From what I've read so far at least half of you are barking so I think I'll enjoy it.
I've just done my sig and looking at it, it looks like I've just gone out and bought all new kit, but the reality of it is...... ok I bought all new kit.
I thought "sod it, I couldn't afford to do it when I was younger but I can now."
Only live once and all that!
