Stu, told me the news on WhatsApp, very sad, was a lovely fella, played a round with him on my first Auld Farts, half way round, he dives into his bag and pulls out 4 cans of McEwans lager, the four of us supped those on the last 9 holes, good times.
Wasn't that me with 4 cans of Tennants lager ?.
RIP , Jock :cry::cry:

Sorry to hear the news. Never actually played golf with Chris, but we shared a room at the last FP meet. A nice guy. RIP.

Really sad to hear this. As others have said, Chris was a really nice guy, don't think there was a bad bone in him.
Played quite a few games with him, he always had a laugh and a ready smile.
RIP mate.

I've been away from the forum and social media for a few days and only just picked up on this sad news.

Chris was a really nice guy, I had the pleasure of meeting him at several forum meets over the years, forum stalwart, snorer of legendary proportions and user of the strangest precursor ever......it was a "pin" pleasure to have known you Chris.
