However I still have the option of confirming my acceptance as a volunteer at the event. I remain very undecided about this as I could end up in a parking lot miles away 'helping' with the Park + Ride

Me too John, no tickets for this poor lad either. Im enetered into the Spring draw according to the email I received, else it will be some dodgy purchase on ebay or an over priced hotel deal.

Me and a mate got them for the Sunday!! Got to upload a photo in the next week or so or the option lapses.
I'm favouring a view from my front room with running supplies of tea and nibbles courtesy of HID. I think it'll be a great live spectacle though and hope everyone lucky enough to get a ticket enjoys seeing the Europeand spank the Yanks. Not sure if I'd volunteer as I would be pretty unhappy to get a park and ride job as mentioned miles form the action and not acutally seeing a ball hit. I guess its pot luck
