Running

You must of been a good runner PJ, even if Bruce Tulloh was older!

I remember reading in the intro to his book about his 1000 mile run across America, but didn't know that he did it in bare feet .
Great runner though in his time, he also coached Richard Neuraker (sp) in Marathon running, although very good, he didn't quite make it to the very top.

Yes i was a good runner.
Worse thing was i gave it up to play football,so many injuries.
I love running,i struggle from dodgy calves, but hopefully if i start
back slow i can build them up again.
Richard Neuraker was a very good runner,i dont think he reached his
full potential,injuries i think.
Thats the key to anyone thinking of starting running, start slow, build up slowly,
and always make sure you have rest days.

Have just signed up for the 'Great Edinburgh Run' 10K event on 7th October, so got 18 weeks to get myself sorted out!! :mmm:
