Rules: Personal Notes on Strokesavers

I've tried searching the R&A site and the forum, but I cannot find an answer to my question.

If I use a stroke saver on the course in a medal, does it have to be a clean copy, or can I use a copy with my own personal notes written in it?

As far as I can remember you can carry whatever written notes you wish.

Think about a Pro caddy's yardage book. IT's basically a Stokesaver with a million extra notes on it.

Or a GPS!!

Nothing in the rules as far as I'm aware to stop you. I hope not as I use one that I added other yardages for via my SC when I forgot to pack it a few times

Just don't lend it to anybody mid-round as, depending on the notes, it could then become advice.
