Rubbish putting!

By your own admission you struggle with putting. Accept there will be good and bad days and move on without looking to dissect every three putt. If the pros can have off days on their manicured greens no wonder you are struggling on a British green in February. Bad putting happens

No, I don't normally struggle with putting at all! Using the claw grip I would say that I am an above average putter, at least at club level. I can't blame my putter either, because it's a rather nice Odyssey Works No 7 fitted with a Super Stroke grip. Just had an off day. Having had a bit of a rest recently, our greens are actually in pretty perfect condition. :)

What a difference a day makes! Today I had no three-putts and made 4 up and downs, so 32 putts in total. Shame about the rest of my golf, but I managed to score 90 for 30 points. My playing companion scored 33, with 20 points on the back nine, so I am buying the teas today. If only I could have combined yesterday's long game with today's putting!

Played this morning and had a putting average of 1.7. Unfortunately the rest of my game was crap as usual

Have you recently retired or something as you seem to be playing every day and we are now getting daily updates on the rounds of delc. Have you considered starting a blog?

Fascinating. What club did you hit off the first?
