Just wandering how many people on here have played this course? whats it like? watched the irish open on the tv and it looks incredible! im thinking of going to Ulster University next year and if all goes to plan i could be in to getting a golf scholarship, which gives me a free membership down there soo if anyone has been there, please share your experiences with me, i wanna know what it might be like if i get in there!?

Played it a couple times now, and hasn't cost me a penny. Love the course, its a great place to play, tough but fair.
Def worth a trip to play.

Not played it but have played the valley links just below it (GMacs home course) and it was excellent. 2 beautiful courses side by side so well worth it. with Castlerock and Portstewart close by you'll never be short of good links courses to play round the area.

walked around it the last two days. its in top notch nick. cant wait to get a round on it sometime. my bro has played it 4 times. wouldnt fancy playing it off the back tees that the pros are playing from. some long holes. greens look nice and slick.

Played it twice last week in april overtwo days with the rathmore course included. Best course ive ever played and was one of my to do's ever since i spent my summers at the caravan directly across from it. Superb test as played it two contrasting weather conditions. Walked round it today and looks even better. Cant wait for tomo and sunday!

I played it years ago and loved it. Very good track and beautiful clubhouse as well.

it looks superb on the tv and every commentator has said it is the best course they have ever seen,why not put it on THE OPEN rotation or do they think it is to far to travel??

Its a great course but not the best in my humble opinion.

Portstewart just up the road is also fantastic!

I agree with the craw, portstewart is also a great track, a hidden gem as people forget bout it due to royal portrush! The north coast is blessed with great links courses and also around towards donegal!
