Even as a Man U fan, I have never liked him. True, he put in some stellar performances and United may not have been the same team without him, but much of the time he was over rated and even the best player in the world is no good to his team sitting in the dressing room when he has just been sent off.
He is certainly an intense person who really needs to take a chill pill and learn to be a bit nicer to people. Life is too short. And that beard looks a dog.

I agree with foxy:eek: what Jose did was premeditated and disrespectful, Aston villa or not, Roy Keane or not. Keane was right to ignore him, Jose got what his actions deserved.

I like Roy, he calls it like it is. He's deeply principled and honest. There's a few that could learn from him.

It doesn't 'bother' me, though it seems obviously disrespectful.

And not so much 'sanctions to stop them leaving early', but sanctions so that there is a cost if they act disrespectfully and do so.

Don't remember you wanting these sanctions last week when Wenger assaulted Mourinho, but you want them when Mourinho offers a handshake when the match is dead and buried. Really?

Keane is funny - was a thug on the pitch - talented but a thug - as well as a coward at times

But since then he makes me laugh with his punditry and interviews

As for Maureen and Whinger - reckon Jose pooped himself when Wenger went for him last week - very funny :D

Keane comes across as an absolute knobend.

Fancied himself as a bit of a hardman on the field, but proper hardmen like Souness would have tore him a new erse (and outplayed him btw), as would a Terry Hurlock or Graeme Roberts (the list could go on). He'd have run a mile from Vinnie in his pomp as well, Christ, Peter Grant would have probably kicked him off the park!

Clown of a man who'd benefit from keeping his top lip stuck to his bottom lip whilst his brain processes the words.

Imo, of course.

Let's face it, it was disrespectful, and he's done it before.

Keane was right, if it would have been a Sunday league game, there would have been ructions.

Well, nobody asked me!

In fact, I would have thought there'd have been some sort of report filed and decision over whether further action should be taken. Maybe because the Referee 'handled' it, the result was 'no further action'.

Rather funny to watch though! Mourinho the 'master of the microphone' getting pushed about (from a great height) by a virtual pensioner!

It's not the fact that it's 'dead and buried', it's simply the fact that it's not finished!

As a Leeds fan I should hate him .. what he did to Alfie was a disgrace.

BUT.. he tells it as he sees it, did try to stand up against the suits for ROI and MU and anyone who infers that they want to T**T Fergie is good by me.

Wouldn't have wanted to see him in a white shirt though

Really not sure what his & Lamberts problem was with Mourinho leaving before the final whistle. 3-0 game over, pathetic not to shake his hand.

It was Mourinho showing a total lack of respect for an opponent ............................. again!

The match was only dead and buried as far as the result was concerned, but the match was NOT OVER. That's when opponents should shake hands. He should lead by example ..................... and probably would if he had any class at all.

Listening to Keane's after match interviews used to be a breath of fresh air. He very rarely if ever blamed the ref and never shied away from the fact his players were to blame at times. Unlike just about every other manager who either 'never sees it', blames the ref or if they get an outrageous decision going their way says that they even themselves out during the season. Despite the fact they are apoplectic and blame the ref if it's the other way round.

He learned a lot from Cloughy who was very strict about his players not trying to intimidate refs and blaming others, and a lot could learn from him.
