Ross Fisher joins Nike.

Nike do make some good gear these days, certainly compared to their early inroads into the market. Players swap brands regularly so I don't see why Fisher going to Nike is a big shock. He's not had a great season or two and although I doubt that has much to do with the Titleist gear perhaps he just wanted to look for a new beginning. I'm sure Nike would love to have McIlroy as their new global ambassador but until the back room negotitations regarding his current deals and ending his ties with them are concluded its not going to happen.

Nike have the resources not to go into something half hearted. It's shown with the improvement off their gear over the last few years.

Getting more tour players onto their staff just shows how far they have come. Their irons and woods these days look awesome, although like NWJ, I've never really found their balls that great.

Any chance that the deal with Titleist came to an end and they turned round to Fisher and said " Sorry Mate, you've lost it - go see Tiger's bunch"...?

You never know, I know for sure he was hard work for the Titleist tour van guys (witnessed it with my own eyes) at an event last year he asked if all his wedges could be stamped with his fish logo which was nigh impossible.
