Hi all,has anyboby got thoughts on Taylor Made rocketballz irons set, also would they be ok for a high handicapper. All replies appreciated.

Game improver irons suited to mid/high handicapper but can work
For anybody give them ago or even save some cash and buy burner 2 vastly reduced.

Father in Law has them and I have the Burner 2.0's. Apart from some cosmetic changes and the 4+5 Irons on the RBZ being more like driving irons there are no real differences. Save some money and get the Burners and yes they are fine for me and my high handicap.

I saw a set on Wednesday in graphite. Impressive clubs. They are aimed at mid-high h'caps.
Personally, I wouldn't go near them. Taylor Made simply don't make irons with the same forgiveness as Callaway and Ping.

Then again, I'm completely mad...

.. (about the benefits of SGIs)

If you want GI clubs then I'd look elsewhere. The RBZ are a decent set for a mid-high handicapper but the high ball flight may not suit. I'd be tempted to go for Ping as my first choice and then perhaps Cally X22 or X20 if you can find them

The x-20's are great irons. I had some up until last year. Couldn't fault them.

Yup, this. Go try the G20s or Razr X HL.

Yes. Well, this summer I tried out both of these clubs and they are simply phenomenal.....

The only reason I didn't get a set was the crazy distance with the short irons whereas the long irons were about the same.
