Robert Allenby Losing the Plot

Can't beat a bit of Cabaret at a party, can you. He only got picked for the Presidents Cup as he is an Aussie, think Tiger took the heat of him as the captains he picks, he finished 0 -4 and hacked it about.

Maybe he's suffering from depression. Maybe he never got over the death of his first wife. Maybe he's just a miserable git. Who knows?

Practice bags at 10 paces.

A fight between two professional golfers would be an embarassment: like that Hugh Grant and Colin Firth effort in Bridget Jones.

Stuart Appleby's wife was killed by a car as she got out of a cab by Waterloo Station.

Can't imagine Robert Allenby has many friends if he goes around threatening them with broken glass. What a knob.

Dont know about that, reckon Thomas Bjorn could dish out a proper beating if you asked for it.

Dont think I would mess with KJ Choi either?

it's a shame when this kind of stuff happens, there seems to be a lot of crap going on in his life just now and this has taken it even further and made it worse.

last thing you want to do is push all your friends away,he'll end up lonely.

not that i'm condoning what he had done as it was bang out of order.......what an erse!!!

If it all transpired they way its written in the article, then its poor form from Allenby. Never apologise in team golf, no one hits a bad shot on purpose....

Wonder if it was the castlemain 4x talking or if he was genuinely that annoyed ???

The thing about Allenby is that he does a tremendous amount of work for charity, i saw a PGA Tour program about him where he takes under privilged kids on fishing trips and such like, i think his poor form over the past while hasn't helped as he had words Anthony Kim in the last Presidents Cup mind Kim is a knob.

Sounds a bit like a guy who used play in my club's scratch team. Always blamed his partners if they missed a green, fairway or putt. Never seemed to grasp the fact we werent doing it on purpose. We play in a comp with 7 other clubs in 4 man teams, he has failed to qualify the last 3 years and we've made the final, first time since 1990, and the semis twice, so he's been a big miss. Although to be fair he never threatened any of us with a broken glass.
