RIP Seve :(

I have just been listening to the Allis tribute on BBC sport and was suprised at how hopeless he described Seve's fight as, I guess I never realised how sick he was

I was just looking for one of his quick wit quotes to put on my reply and came across this....

“My intention is to compete until I'm 54. So if I join the Champions Tour, it will only be for four years - no more than that. I'm in the golf course design business. This is my future. I'd rather go to a place where there is nothing and design a golf course. This will be a good legacy for me to leave.”

I hope you find that place mi amigo.

RIP Seve. A one off, a legend.

My old man spoke to Alliss in October last year and he said the greatman wouldn't see Xmas...........looks like he has put up another great battle then!

He was our Arnold and Jack rolled into one and he changed the face of European golf.

RIP.

The man was a people's champion and a genuine, passionate sportsman in the truest sense.

My wife was welling up when she heard the news and she doesn't even play the game which shows just how far his influence and stature went.

R.I.P SEVE you will be sorely missed,an inspiration to me personally and millions around the globe,an absolute legend. Why is life so cruel sometimes, and we all probably moan about the most trivial of things.
Can you imagine Seve and God having a round of golf and Seve asking God to show him how to hit a 1 iron,or maybe the other way around.

Compltley gutted.

He came across as just a normal down to earth bloke that was fortunate enough to have the golfing touch of a genious.

Thank you for being an insparation to me and millions of other golfers across the world.
