Ricky Fowler at US Open !

The last guy to rock that look won!

Ye Payne dressed like that as a friend of his or his fathers told him to dress to be noticed and you will be remembered. It was said you always knew where he was. He also disliked that everyone else looked the same and he did not want to be uniform. Ricky has done the same while he has been on our screens and although I don't usually think it's a good look it does catch attention, this post is testament to that.

A lead post on the first day of a major and it is about what the guy was wearing.

BBC Sports.

'and here is the news from the US Open at Pinehurst, one golfer is wearing a pretty pink pullover whilst another is, believe it or not, wearing last seasons brown Footjoys.'

It's a forum, there's lots of room for you to post everything relating to the golf!

That's a very good thing for him to do

Fitting tribute to a great person and golfer

Doesn't look quite right with the Puma shoes but that aside I think it looks alright and is a cracking tribute. Well done Rickie I say.

i think it could be a fitting tribute, but not from Fowler.

Fowler looks consistently ridiculous in everything he wears, i think its probably the ears tucked into his hat with the flat bill. its impossible to take that seriously.

Payne Stewart dressed distinctively but with a touch of class. fowler just dresses distinctively.

His ears weren't tucked in although I agree with the flat bill, just looks ridic. A bit like parnevik in my opinion.

Well, the 'new' poster boy for NFL (Ben Curtis) isn't playing, so good to see someone has taken on the task - and who more noticeable than Fowler!

Great tribute imo!
