Richard Baker - RIP

I remember him as a child reading the BBC 6 o clock news.
However my fondest memory was him narrating Mary, Mungo and Midge. Fantastic voice.

Forgot he did Mary Mungo and Midge. To me he was the face of BBC News and the first news reader I remember watching

One of those voices from my childhood and youth. Like so many of that period Baker was just part of life. God Bless You sir!
