Resizing

I want to use this picture at the bottom of my threads but it either goes way too small as shown or is huge and unmanageable. Can anyone help me resize this into a reasonable size to use

Sorry forgot to answer question. Have you had a go on photobucket? They have an option on there to do resizing.

I use paint.net, a free photo application available at cnet download.com

If you don't have photo editing software, try this....

Depends, normally yes, but paint doesn't take all formats....don't know why, not my thing......

I always use paint to resize & crop photo's for online use.

I used Photoshop cs4, crop the picture fairly tightly and have more of the main subject at a better size, then focus on the subject, blur the back ground and add a dollop of saturation as the pic is going to be shrunk it'll not lose as much colour and clarity, Contrasty picture of Homer J Simpson, Done!


(Im sure that is way to long to be a sentence, but if Gordon Ramsey can get away with it! )
