I have played with Titleist 735 - CM irons for the last 6 years and really get on with them but fancy a change.

Have never really considered Mizuno irons but have just tested the demo 6 iron from the new MP 64 irons and wow - fantastic feel and a very penetrating flight as I do tend to hit a high ball. Guy at the local range advised to keep the Dynamic Gold S300 shafts which I have in the Titleists. Will these be more or less forgiving than mine?

Are these worth a buy or anybody recommend others for me to consider? Ping S56s, titleist AP2s, Taylormade?

They will not really be more or less forgiving than your 735s... What shafts did you test? You seemed to like the flight.

I've a had a go of a mates old 735 and that were not overley forgiving tbo, so maybe you might find new irons are much more so than your old irons.

I like the look of the 64's too but very happy with my mp62's at the moment.

Tried the same shafts as what I use now, the DG S300 but the flight was more penetrating. Tend to hit my current irons very high so can be a problem into a strong wind. Mizuno a were slightly lower.

I initially had s300 in my MP53s, it was the shaft I'd always used. I just couldn't get used to it in the 53s though and eventually changed to the Dynalite.
I'd suggest trying out shafts as well as heads.
I like to feel the weight of the club head during the swing, with the 53s and 63s combined with s300 shafts I couldn't.

Try to give the Ping i20s a whirl. A mate as just bought them and I tried them on the range the other night, Fantastic club, Loads of feel in the short irons and the amount of forgiveness in the long irons is unbelievable for such a small clubhead.
