The recession has lost me all of my regular golf buddies (2 from SA have gone home, other has lost job and cant afford to play) so looking to hook up with some players in the Drogheda area to play regularly.

Playing courses in Louth, Meath and North County Dublin and cash a bit tight due to pay cuts so tending to veer toward places which charge 25 euros or less at the weekend.

My standard is officially at 20 handicap (last handicap I had when I was a member of a club) but scoring in region of 95 - 105 right now so playing closer to 24-26.

If any interest pop me a reply and lets see if we can set something up.

Hi,
A couple of us on here play in Bellewstown but we play in competions all the time it is a very easy club to get a game in if you were to join and there are 3 comps on every week the fee for the year is 820 but for new buisness he may do it a bit less if you play more than 30 times a year it would fall into your price range and you can pay monthly.

Thanks, appreciated. Have played there a few times and did consider joining. Not a great fan of the course - feel it is a bit too long, also because of draining and uphill sections it often plays even longer. Think have played about 3 times and best ever round was 105 - that was on a nice sunny day when course was dry and playing a bit shorter.
