As the title says can anyone recommend and gold shoes that have a bit more cushioning in the heel?

Just that my old man is after a new pair and he had problems with pains in the base of his heel so would like some that would have a bit more cushioning in.

I have a pair of Bite shoes that come with 2 different insole (more for arch support) but they both have very comfortable insoles with lots of support in them.

I have a pair of Adidas Powerband and find them to be really comfortable even when playing on rock hard fairways. Has he taken a look at Nike Air golf shoes as they have the airsole cushioning system.

I suffer with sore heels and have gone through footyjoy synr g, and sports to no avail. I have just got some Adidas tour 360 ATV and they are amazing. So comfy. I got the wide fitting as well. Well worth a look!

I have some Nike Air shoes and even when walking across the car park it feels like you're walking on a nice spongy fairway.

Thanks for the advice, I'm a bit put off addidas shoes now as the last pair of 360 4.0's I had the padding around the heel wore out after about a month and it's a common fault with them, unless they have changed them on the new atv ones?

Think Nike ones may be the way forward because of the air cushion in the heel in most models and my dad owns a pair and loved them until he had the problem with his foot.
