Thanks so much for all the support! It is not going to be easy to play to to start with but I feel it can be done.

My wife is sick of every sentence starting with "as a 12 handicap I dont think I should........" or "As the wife of a 12 handicap I think you should......" But she is seemingly oking the touch ups my bag is enjoying.


Rick, I would love to come for a pint, I would actually like to follow you up there and watch but was out on the piss at the Windsor races last night and not feeling the best. Steve, I know and you know but I am still going to try beat you!! As for Dave, I can psych him out with my par par par birdie finish I keep pulling out, it rocks his world and he blob blob blob pick ups...

Technically: Swing plane... even the poor ones are in play, they are just short or long.
Mentally: Make a point even when you have made a mess.

We started a family and I had 18 month away from being a member.

Short answer is best card was +12 to SSS, in there was an 8 on a par 4 that should have been rounded to a 6

Then I concur, should have been 10

It should be, unfortunately, there are an amazing number of handicap secretaries who don't seem to understand it

Well done matey. I keep driving towards single figures but one step forwards and two back at the moment. It will come. Enjoy the Cat 2 and decide on new goals for the rest of the season

They should take "previous" into consideration.
If I remember you were off 19..?
So it's a bit of a drop from 19 to 10 so levelling it off at 12 doesn't sound too bad..
