Went to the driving range this morning to test out my recent purchase a set of callawy x-20 irons with uni-flex steel shafts, I got them second hand and they are mint look like they have only been used a few times. I have been using a set of dunlop irons with graphite shafts that i got cheap to see if i would enjoy the game, But WOW the difference is amazing I am hitting the ball further and much cleaner than before, can't wait to get them out on the course.

Same here, just took my Mizuno MP60's to the range and I'm delighted with them, I really like the fact that if you concentrate and put a good swing on them they really reward. Get a bit soppy with them and they bite you on the A*se big style. I need to start taking more care and put the swing I'm capable of on the ball, so they are going to suit me down to the ground.

I've just taken delivery of a Taylormade R7 Limited so i'll be heading to the range in about an hour, I wanted to try a driver with a stiff flex and at £99 from direct golf i thought it was worth the punt and i can always px or sell it if it doesn't work out. I'll keep you informed.
